“Don’t Knock it Till You Try It” comes from a pretty straight forward and simple observation: my people smoke weed. I come from a family of smokers. Yes. the alcohol was there, but weed? That was the achilles heel. And this dates back generations. Growing up, see someone with a blunt in their hand was normal. When pens started becoming popular, they were not down with that at all. To them, if you were going to smoke, you were going to roll up. For this concept, I wanted to take that skepticism and turn it into a challenge: Before you dismiss it, try it. As a bonus, I threw in my original drawing concept, the first visual i came up with for the idea.
