Follow the Rain Board
For three and a half years of my developing years, I chose to in Southern Louisiana, away from everything I knew, and man, was it a culture shock. You tell anyone not from Louisiana that you can get a daiquiri through a drive-through window no problem, they would look at you like you had lost your mind. Anyway, I was in Erath, Louisiana ( I bet you don’t know what THAT is) one day with my friend Kayleigh. We were visiting her mom, sister and nephew when of the sudden her mom started sniffing the air and said “Let’s the baby back inside, it’s about to rain.” Me, being very confused, wanted to say “how the hell do you know that?” Then I remembered who I was about to potentially say this to, so changed the tone of my question. Fast forward, I’ve became a “pro” at the smell technique and apparently it’s not a crazy thing to do.That little experience became the starting point for my creation of “Follow the Rain Board'“.
